This little coastal town is known for its wonderful climate and friendly atmosphere. The surrounding country side has more than a million hectares of game reserves, hiking trails and historical places to visit.
For holiday-makers, houseboating is your accommodation - and it’s your entertainment; for honeymooners, it’s romance. Port Alfred has the most wonderful stretch of beaches for those romantic walks. Port Alfred is also the home of the Big Pineapple and the Kowie Chu Chu (tourist train).
Our 4-berth, GRP Leisure Liners comes complete with bedding, galleys (with fridges and gas stoves), ‘heads’ (shower rooms with chemical toilets) and portable barbecues. And our shore facility offers spacious ablution blocks. All boats have onboard two fishing licences and one bait collection licence. On our premises we have a little shop well stocked with fishing equipment and bait and for those who don’t want to travel with their rods. We hire out fishing rods.
