Wickers Riverside Estate is a small country hotel set in beautiful gardens on the banks of two Magaliesburg rivers. Escape from the rat race in only 45 minutes (from central Johannesburg and Pretoria). Come to the oldest mountain range in the world and recharge your batteries.

Featuring 20 uniquely designed and decorated rooms situated next to the Kanaal River, Wickers caters for the whole family, with various children's entertainment available as well as a babysitting service. From two roomed family suites and spacious twin rooms to romantic double rooms with fireplaces, the accommodation at Wickers is designed to meet every guest’s needs.

Each unit is uniquely decorated and individually planned. Some are secluded single units and others are in bigger cottages, all rooms are en suite with tea/coffee facilities and private entrances. Selected rooms are equipped with Satellite Television and these can be requested on booking.

All the rooms are situated on the far side of the Kanaal River away from the main buildings and restaurant so that peace and quiet is guaranteed. Our property is safe and secure with 24-hour patrols.

Like our accommodation, the food at Wickers is designed to offer something for everyone. We bring a fresh approach to traditional cooking with quality and value as a priority. We offer à la Carte menus, Table d' Hote service, Buffet Carvery and tailor-made function menus. Outdoor functions such as picnics, spit braai's and potjies can also be arranged.

On the premises is a swimming pool with thatched lapa, trampoline, aviary, wedding chapel, cozy pub and restaurant as well as our well know tea garden/restaurant terrace offering a varied A La Carte menu (dinner must be booked in advance) and our scrumptious weekend buffet breakfasts.

Three venues are available to cater for small intimate parties, conference dining or large wedding receptions. All our facilities are available for private hire and when necessary we will reserve the entire Hotel for private functions. We can organise all your party needs including DJ’s, mobile discos, classical musicians, florists, magicians, children’s’ entertainers and motivational speakers.
