Harry and Barbara Andrews, who emigrated to Durban in 2005 from the North East of England, welcome you to Bhekintaba Guesthouse which offers comfortable bed and breakfast / self catering accommodation in the residential suburb of Morningside, Durban. Bhekintaba Guesthouse has been graded as a 3 Star Bed & Breakfast establishment by the TGCSA (Tourism Grading Council of South Africa) and we are also members of the following industry related associations: NAA (National Accommodation Association), FEDHASA (Federated Hospitality Association of Southern Africa) as well as KWABABA (KwaZulu Natal Bed and Breakfast Association).

Our bed & breakfast accommodation, all with private external entrances, consists of bedrooms with en-suite facilities; each bedroom having one queen size bed, with the exception of one bedroom which has two single beds. As well as our bed & breakfast accommodation we also have a self catering unit which consists of two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, open plan lounge/kitchen with electric hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, DSTV/MNET in the open plan lounge, one bathroom consisting of bath, shower cubicle, toilet and hand basin; private courtyard and private veranda - on which there is an outdoor table and chairs.

On the upper level we have a plunge pool and sunbathing area; a large lapa under which there is an outdoor table and chairs; on the ground floor we have a smaller lapa, again with outdoor table and chairs. We have adequate on-site parking and for anyone who has problems with stairs, we have ground floor bedrooms, as well as the breakfast room also being situated on the ground floor.

All bedrooms have air-conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, DSTV/MNET, electronic safe, hairdryer, complimentary soap/shampoo. 

We are situated just off Hendry Road which is part of the M17 that starts at the beach front as Argyle Road and as you drive inland up towards the Berea it changes its name to Springfield Road, then Earl Haig Road and finally Hendry Road.
