Nsele Safaris & Lodge, situated in the pristine Southern African bushveld, is proudly managed and run by the owners, Olaf & Stephanie. We form part of the Extended Kruger National Park Biosphere in the Limpopo Province of South Africa and are situated on the southern border of the famous Thornybush Game Reserve.



We provide excellent tailor-made Safari-tours for you, your family and friends. Nsele Lodge will be the excellent home base after you have completed your safari for the day – here we offer 5 exclusively furnished en-suit double chalets for you to relax in. With our personal service and beautiful lodgings, excellent guiding, as well as a variety of specialized home-cooked delicatessens and real South African bushveld cuisine, Nsele is an affordable getaway offering a variety of options for your dream safari holiday: from an open-vehicle state-of-the-art game drive, to a visit to the Blyde River Canyon, a tour to meet the rare King Cheetah or a visit to the famous White Lions of the Timbavati, and we’ll arrange it for you with the greatest of pleasure!



Nsele Lodge comprises of 4 tastefully decorated chalets overlooking a small pool to cool off and relax in on those hot summer days, whilst nursing a cocktail or drink of your choice. The chalet-hidden-in-the-bush is ideal for the more adventurous couples or honeymooners. The loft-area in three of the chalets can be made-up in a tent-like style for two children – this is always a huge hit for the kids.



Mealtimes are a highlight at Nsele Lodge and are enjoyed, weather permitted, under the African stars around an open log-fire or around the pool. We can even provide you with a scrumptious picnic basket to keep the hunger at bay on your tours.



The game drives we offer have sights on a variety of different animals, from the big 5 to the smaller and bigger plains game like kudu, impala, reedbuck, hyena, smaller wild cat species, the small chameleon and even spiders have their own space on drives and bush walks.

There are adventure trips for the adrenaline-junkies amongst us, such as horseback riding, white river rafting, hot air ballooning, mountain biking in the big-3 areas, micro-lighting - whatever takes your fancy. Have you ever been on an elephant-back ride... on an African Elephant? In one word: Amazing. Day or overnight trips and tours into the Kruger National Park in open or air-conditioned vehicles can also be arranged.



At Nsele there are no formal schedules to stick to (as is the case with many of the bigger, commercialized game lodges). With us you will be able to relax and enjoy a safari of a lifetime.
