Piccolo Paradiso is a beautifully appointed 2 bedroomed seafront house with spectacular sea views, sleeping 4-5 peolple. A short coastal path brings you to Fish Hoek beach.
Piccolo Paradiso or "small paradise" is an apt description of this lovely 2 bedroomed home beautifully positioned across the road from the ocean's edge close to Fish Hoek beach. The house sleeps 4-5 people: the main bedroom offering a double bed with sea views and the second bedroom 2 single beds with views of the patio and mountain behind. White percale cotton linen embroidered with sea shells and marine motifs in hues of blue reflect the marine theme which is continued in the décor of the spacious open plan living room/ dining room and kitchen- all affording spectacular sea views over False Bay.
Piccolo Paradiso has a family bathroom with shower and bath and separate toilet with wash basin next door. All your comforts are looked after: the lounge offers satellite television and DVD player / music system and the kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dish washer, stove and washing machine.
The front sloped garden has been landscaped with typical Cape fynbos and benches invite you to stop a while and enjoy the views ( especially the whale-watching from August-October ). It is fully enclosed with lock up garage. The back garden is steep mountain side leading up from the paved patio which has an outdoor dining area and barbecue. Throughout the property the spectacular sea views dominate. During whale season we have seen the Southern Right whales directly in front of the property as close as 10 meters from the shoreline.
Piccolo Paradiso is centrally located to all of Cape Town's attractions. It is backed by the Table Mountain National Park offering a variety of outdoor activities and is within a 5 minute walk to the beach. Our beaches and coastal waters offer a full range of activities for you to enjoy including swimming; surfing ( surf boards and surfing lessons can be arranged ); kayaking trails with an experienced guide; kite surfing and wind surfing ( best during the windy months from Dec-Feb ). Why not try your hand at snorkeling or scuba diving. There is a diving school and sailing club near our properties for instruction or hired gear. During summer you may even catch your own rock lobster or go mussel collecting or fishing throughout the year !
The south Peninsula is surrounded by nature and is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Enjoy activities such as mountain biking ( we can arrange hired bikes for you ), hiking on a variety of trails in the Table Mountain National Park starting from right on your doorstep , walking on 18 different beaches in the south Peninsula including various shipwreck trails.
There are many excellent restaurants close by including top seafood restaurants on the seafront ( the closest restaurant to the sea in South Africa is situated nearby ); local fish/ calamari and chip take away shops; pizzerias. The Constantia Winelands boasts some of the top restaurants in the country. Val and Adele from Ocean Waves will welcome you personally and ensure that your holiday runs smoothly.
